A story of Seasons: Prelude
There is always a beginning that echoes in to the future...
The dim light of a lonely candle lit the old library of the old manor. The wood creaked as the night was cold and the building was silent for it was late in the night.
Soft and silent moans can be heard if you stood quietly in the darkness, a sudden creak of wood as a desk moved in the quiet of the night. As the sight unravels a couple is enjoying an intimate moment in the late hours. She held herself from an old desk covered in old books, being careful in not moving the contents of it. She was scared of some sudden sound would wake anyone up… or at least startle unwanted watchers. She was bent holding hard and biting her lip to stop her from moaning even louder. He held her from the waist as he thrust in her also trying to be careful in not making any sudden sounds… He could hardly see her, but her head leaning down, the light of the candle he had earlier lit for reading could hardly keep the image in his eyes.
She turned to him, she was smiling and her face evidently said “don’t stop...” he smiled back and started thrusting even harder, he could feel he was close, she let go a sudden soft moan, not as loud to be noticed… and suddenly he finished in her. He could feel himself being released from all the tension in a way, she curved back as she felt himself poor inside of her, she smiled as she also felt release.
After gathering themselves they sat in darkness, she rested herself on his chest as he sat on the wooden floor, he could feel her breathing in a calm and ensuring way… he passed his fingers over her dark long hair.
She whispered “i wish it could be like this always…” those words made him sink. He didn’t answer… no reassuring words, no romantic phrases… he kept silent.
As she fell asleep in his arms his eyes lingered in the dark room…
He kissed her forehead trying to sleep in the hard floor. His eyes closed as he relaxed and suddenly a creak alerted him. As his eyes looked for the sudden movement in the room his eyes finally locked with another set of dim glowing eyes in the other side of the room, green enervating eyes.
He then heard like a deep hit in the wood… he held her tight to him, trying not to wake her up. Suddenly in darkness he could vaguely see a dark figure crawling towards him, it had a humanoid form but built in smoke, the two glowing eyes getting closer to him as the rattling and twitching figure crawled towards them. He couldn’t scream or move or do anything… he just watched it getting close and close.
As the smoked being came closer to him, the figure got a clear form… as of a gray skinned woman, the smoke turned in to black hair that she dragged with her gray pale naked skin shinning. Her face was covered in her hair but he could see the green glowing eyes and a white teeth smile.
As she crawled and stop right in front of him, she slowly moved her twitchy bony hands on her leg… her finger tips where black as night. He could hear her voice in his head.
The crunching of the snow was heard in the darkness of night, it snowed for a good part of the day and as it set on the soil it froze just enough to make that disturbing crunch under your feet as you step on it.
The sobs of a broken man echoes in the night only to be heard by the wind. He walked tumbling under a sky of no stars but a big white moon shinning his path. He finally fell on his knees crying and screaming, his hands, as he covered his face, where drenched in red blood. His pale skin covered in blood.
He screamed like a mad man in the night almost like howling at the moon.
He curled holding himself, shivering still crying like a lost boy.
-Thank you for the sacrifice- a familiar voice resonated. He lift his head, and saw the woman from that night. Her bony body was no longer, her pale gray skin glowed by the moon, she looked young and beautiful…. But he could relate her to his lover.
-you…. Bitch…. YOU MONSTER!!!- he screamed, she only smiled down to him. She laughed at him as she walked towards him, she didn't sink in the snow, she was light but he couldm’t see her step on the snow without tempering with it. As she got closer her hands passed over her body almost as a teasing act.
- I love my new body… I love the feeling… I love feeling so pure… - she said mocking him. His eyes burned full in rage.
-DON’T TOUCH HER!!! - He stood up as he tried to attack her but as he jumped towards her she held him from the neck tight and threw him on the side like he was a rag doll and weightless.
-I am getting bored of you… - as he tried to lift himself up from the cold snow the gray woman grabbed him from the hair and dragged him with her. - You need to wash your shame -she said as a cliff could be seen… and a long fall to a dark frozen lake was on the bottom.
She lift him to her face and smiled as she kissed him on the forehead.
- goodbye my love...- she said and threw him down the cliff, he could feel loosing his breath as he fell. But before crashing in the ice he felt hands holding him and turning him towards the water.
A crash and a splash echoed in the darkness.
Then… dead silence… only the wind blowing in the distance.
Chapter 1 will be coming soon in Halloween night 2023.

First off I thought I was in for a steamy romance novel. I love thé descriptive ambiance it felt like I was there sharing this intimate moment with this couple and needed a cigarette afterward. I was not ready for the horror that followed. I was unprepared hahaha.
It was a bit jarring to be taken from what I was expecting to reality. Jarring in a good way because I was surprised and wasn’t expecting it. The drawing for sure brought up the creep factor.
What the story is evolving into is a very complex and surprising. Definitely feeling manga vibes from this one. I think it really reminds me a bit of Inuyasha because it looks like this really cute anime but it has some deeply troubling stories and spirits.
Approaching this I was expecting something lighthearted and steamy. And I walked away with a lot more. Can’t wait to read more but now this isn’t the relaxing.
