A little story about Autumn & Winter
A brief introduction to Seasons.
"And thus what started as a chance encounter… turned into something not even borders could separate...love.”
A story of season was a little story that was inspired over how two people can get together from separate worlds. Inspired by my relationship with my then long distance boyfriend and now husband.
The whole ordeal of being together and keeping a somewhat stable relationship in literal distant worlds.
I was terribly obsessed over the idea and it’s one that I didn’t let go even when it’s been so long since I’ve started noodling the concept and story I feel like it’s time to give a little light to it.
THIS WORLD OF SEASONS
The short story of Seasons is about a girl named Nebbia that got lost in a winter forest where she is found by Frost a young man from this lands where winter never does change. Nebbia being from a land where is perpetually Autumn is not adapted to this harsh winter weather, but thanks to her savior she is able to be safe and protected.
The sweet and short story on how they met and get to fall in love with each other and then have to be separated by how the rules are in this worlds was just the way we felt back then.
We resonated a lot with it and I think that’s why i kept it so close to my heart and also in my mind. But as time passed I felt like it needed a good over due… it deserved a bigger lore and a world more fit to it.
The character designs have had not such mayor changes, but they have because my art skills have changed in a better quality and detailed.
The creation of a world where it was separated by the different season is not a new concept, one that i actually loved since Peter Pan, where I originally grabbed the idea. But the fact that every world had their own different society and traditions made it so much fun to work with. The fact of the matter is that I love magician ans mystical lands was what kept me world building.
THE SEASONS
Winter
The one that I started developing was Winter because it was indeed where the main story was going to be developed. Most of the characteristics of the town looks is very viking driven. Always loved the aesthetic of it. The dark and gloomy lakes with pine trees and beautiful barren sceneries just making you feel like winter is perpetual but even in it there is beauty that is present.
Also the winter people are capable of magic and wielding it like a weapon or a projectile. Without ignoring the specific visual look all resembling blue skinned beings with dark eyes. Almost like the ancient Japanese Onis blue demons.
AUTUMN
The land of Autumn is only mentioned on the first story for a bit and in the new story they only refer it but it’s a more developed section on the second story. But in older versions of the story it’s pictured as the autumn forests with colorful trees and rivers. The rivers on this land are very important. It will be more explained as the story goes.
The autumn folk are pictured as normal looking human beings but with their hair and eyes being in red and/or orange golden colors.
For the rest of the seasons I am not really focus in them, also that will give out some things for the second part and that’s too far away from finished.
What’s the plan?
I already have some artworks and a couple of well proofed read chapters. Also the ending from the first part is cemented but need some spell check up. Beyond that it’s all set for start being at leats published and hopeing that it’ll have some sort of acceptance.
I wanted to try doing it on tumblr but the problems where very evident with the type of writing I was doing it because it’s adult oriented and it starts with literally a bang. So I will hope it survives episode 1… it will survive episode 2… and so on and so forth.
So with that I leave it in a to be continued… and hope the first chapter shows up some time at the end of October 2023.

This story really reminded me of some things! First it reminded me of adventure time. Idk if you seen the cartoon and I don’t want to talk too much about spoilers but the world pretty much has different states instead of seasons. At one point Finn starts dating the fire princess from the fire kingdom and they loved each other but Finn ended up physically getting hurt a lot because fire princess is made out of fire. They tried their hardest to be together but couldn’t.
Visually I love winter and autumn. Your description of winter and the winter people gave me white walker vibes. ANC the description of the autumn ppl gave me twilight vampire vibes.
I love thé artwork. I just picked up a game called witchy life story and tho the story is meh the game play is so fun I couldn’t stop. I would love to see this story as an interactive visual novel like witchy life. It’s a game that has decent artwork, fun gameplay tho it can get redundant, and a meh story. I could just see this story already has a better story line and more captivating characters.
I love the tension with “forbidden” or “unconventional” love and that whole opposites attract deal. I’m looking forward to seeing more and hearing how this story evolves.
