Ah yes... LIFE and updates...?
WHAT IS GOING ON???!!!!
Today I felt the need to explain myself on what the hell is going on right now with this Substack. As of late I know that I’ve been only sharing old stuff and I imagine ( I guess or hope…) people are like “Where’s the new stuff???”
Well IT’S COMING. The problem is that we… kinda had a little thing happening called, WE MOVED FROM TEXAS TO OHIO like… in the middle of December.
“Wish we actually went on a damn plane… no we drove in the horrible roads of what is back roads of TEXAS… 0/10 I would die first before suffering that again…”
It was not fun, it felt rushed… and we knew what was happening MONTHS ahead and STILL… still we felt we needed more time, but I needed to work some more weeks in my job and my hubby worked almost till the last possible moment he could make. We had a good list of reasons that I can go on and on with… but it’s not worth explaining. We needed to get away from that place and so far… as the week has gone it’s been so different.
I start back at work the week of Christmas, so it’s going to be… interesting.
BUT let’s get in to business.
THE STATE OF SEASONS…
Before I left I made a couple of illustrations that are part of Book of Winter and Book of Autumn. I needed to disconnect from everything that was going on and I just went and did some artworks. I have been working on the story it self but I need to work on the illustrations of the new chapters and such and sadly in the place I’m at it’s hard to push my back in to things, also… I have been working on well moving in to the stand by place that we are staying for the time being. So I have a lot in hand, also just being honest… I had a little vacation that I needed for sure.
For me to write and edit I need to have some sort of normality that it’s hard to get right now.
I think it’s more the fact that I need to make a new pic for the chapters cause I am really ahead of the game in this occasion BUT STILL it needs to be edited and checked before publishing.
I am also thinking about publishing the whole original draft but sadly with everything going on I can’t give it the illustration love I usually had for them. But it’s a still “we shall see” thing of the moment.
Also been working on the new character designs for Book of Autumn, that I am very excited to start working on but all in due time.
All in all I do want to tell everyone that passes by, and maybe is still interested in my little project… Thank you for being patient and still looming around.
I have so much in hands but I will be coming soon next year, once we got our feet set down in this new chapter in our lives.
